Yard Waste Collection

Find your collection date here,

The Department of Public Works reminds City residents that the final yard waste pickups for the season will be held next week, September 10th-14th.  There are specific guidelines for bundling branches and yard waste that will determine whether or not yours will be picked up:

  • branches should be cut in lengths no greater than 4 feet, with branches no greater than 4 inches in diameter and tied in bundles no greater than 2 feet in diameter and tied with rope or twine.
  • place your bundle(s) in the street (curb) the evening before your scheduled pick-up day.
  • all other yard waste, i.e. grass clippings, garden waste, leaves, must be placed loose in the street.  No bags or containers.

If you miss the pick up next week, or have more accumulate after September 14th, brush, branches and yard waste may be dropped off at any of the City Bulky Waste Collection Sites.

Any questions may be directed to DPW, 262-636-9126.
