Playground Parades (AKA Doll Buggy Parades) - 4th of July
The Playground Parades (also known as the Doll Buggy Parades) have been a tradition in the parks for nearly 100 years. Children throughout Racine carry on this annual Independence Day celebration by building small floats and decorating bikes, wagons, scooters...and themselves...to march through their playground park. Instead of a city wide Doll Buggy Parade, the parades are now being held at the individual parks that host Playground Programs. Children will be given the information at their playground session. All parades begin around 11 am, and vary in number of participants.
Parades start around 11am.
