Located at 100 Kewaunee St., is Wisconsin's first beach to be designated as a Certified Blue Wave clean beach by the National Clean Beaches Council and was most recently voted #4 in USA Today's 2016 Reader's Choice 10 Best Freshwater Beaches.
North Beach has been featured in Parents magazine’s Top 10 Family Friendly Beaches,
USA Today’s 51 Great American Beaches, and Midwest Living magazine. Nationally known expert Dr. Stephen
Leatherman, nicknamed “Dr. Beach”, honorably mentioned North Beach as most
improved Great Lakes Beach in his Top 5 Great – Great Lakes Beaches commending
pro-active community beach management. North Beach’s handicap ramps, impressive
playground, and the 50 acres of pristine beach along 2,500 feet of shoreline
allow visitors to spread out to play in the soft sand and cooling waters. Needless to say, Racine is very proud to
call North Beach its own.”
