Stay Safe in the Heat
posted on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.
Summer has arrived in Wisconsin, along with extreme heat.
Stay safe in the hot and humid weather by keeping cool, limiting outdoor
activities, drinking plenty of water, and learning the signs of heat exhaustion
and heat stroke. Take the time to check on people and pets who are more
sensitive and vulnerable to extreme heat, including infants, small children,
older adults, and those with chronic health conditions. NEVER leave children or
pets unattended in vehicles or outdoors. Following are links to important
information, including a list of cooling centers in Racine County.
