    The Department of Public Works is again sending updated magnet calendars and maps to every City of Racine resident. Keep the magnet on your refrigerator to remind you when to take your recycling cart out to the curb for recycling pick-up.

    Are you a DIY Oil changer?

    Effective January 1, 2011, used oil filters are banned from landfill disposal in Wisconsin.
    Keep them out of both solid waste collection and the recyclable cart.

    Valvoline Instant Oil Change stores accept used oil filters along with waste oil and
    antifreeze. Up to 6 used oil filters per person per day are allowed at no charge.

    Do recycle oil filters by taking them to any of these
    Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations:
