The Wustum Museum is housed in an Italian style farmhouse left
to the City by Jennie Wustum in honor of her late husband, Charles. With 13
acres of gardens, gazebo, pool and fountain, it is the site of exhibitions,
art classes for all ages, festivals and outdoor weddings. Changing exhibitions
and a large permanent collection make each visit new. Parking and admission
are free.
Classes in several media are offered for people of all ages in four semesters
each year. The museum’s exhibitions change every 6-8 weeks and include
a wide array of contemporary regional artists’ work. These include the
annual Watercolor Wisconsin competition and a summer-long thematic show organized
each year around a different topic, featuring over 100 artists working in all
media. The Museum is closed for national holidays and exhibitions changeovers.
