Policies and Procedures
| Notice of Non-Discrimination It is, and will continue to be, the policy of the Racine Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department that there shall be no discrimination against any person because of race, creed, ancestry, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, arrest or conviction record, marital status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, veteran’s status, familial status, or any other protected status. This includes any program, activity and employment as related to the Racine Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department. |
| Program Refund Full refund is made when Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services cancels or changes a program or scheduled activity. Twenty percent (20%) of the registration fee is retained for cancellation by registrant up to two (2) weeks before the start date. Refunds will not be made if the registrant cancels less than 14 days before the start of the scheduled activity or program or after it starts. |
| Player Fees Refunds or transferring of player card fees is NOT allowed. |
| NSF Checks A $30.00 service charge will be assessed on all checks returned due to insufficient funds. Two party checks are NOT accepted. |
| Insurance The Racine Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department does not provide accident insurance. |
| Credit Cards The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department accepts MasterCard and Visa Cards, cash and checks for all registrations, programs and ticket payments. |
| Activities & Sports Hotline Dial 637-7678 for softball, volleyball and basketball cancellations. This is a twenty-four hour service with recorded information. |
