Fourth of July Parade
The pre-parade begins at 8:15 am and is followed by a classic car show, then by
the parade Friday, July 4, 2008. The parade begins on Main Street at the zoo and ends on Fourteenth Street.
Racine boasts the largest parade in the Midwest with an estimated viewing
audience of over 100,000 people. The parade draws drum and bugle corps from
around the country.
Major floats are also a highlight of the parade which is sponsored annually by
a corporate Racine sponsor.
