Youth Nutrition Class
Teaches children about nutrition and the importance of eating a well-balanced meal. Also teaches the kids how to prepare nutritious snacks, drinks and sandwiches. This class will be held the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. during the summer months only from May to September.

Arts and Crafts
This program is geared toward elementary and middle school youth. Participants in this program get a chance to explore their creative abilities through a variety of projects. The activities range from finger painting to woodwork and jewelry making Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Ceramics Class
Ceramics is the art of changing greenware to ceramics by firing and underglazing. A minimum fee will be charged for some materials. Classes are held Mondays and Thursdays from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Narcotics Anonymous Group Meeting Site
Tuesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Come on out! Meet new people and gain lifelong friendships.

Homework Assistance
This class provides an opportunity for youth to improve upon their basic skills (reading, writing and arithmetic) and for help in a subject of their choice such as spelling, English, etc. All of the aforementioned subjects are directed toward grade school and middle school youth. Others may receive help upon request. Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Girl Scouts
Meets every Thursday, November – May, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. For girls ages 5 through 12.
Arts & crafts, movies, baking cookies, etc. For more information call 636-9237.

Garden Club
Working with University of Wisconsin Extension, youth are shown the basics in planting and caring for a garden. From the planting of the seeds, the harvesting of the crop, youth are involved in every aspect. At the end of teh harvesting, youth will be allowed to sell their produce at the Farmers Market, and take some of the crops home.

Boys & Girls Tech
Working with Workforce Development Center, young men and women ages 10 - 17 get first-hand expreience in working with the latest computer technology, developing web pages, utilizing internet for research and strengthening their computer knowledge.

Weight Lifting
Time and day for middle school 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.; for high school and young adults from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays - year round.

Bookhouse (Library) Program
The Bookhouse provides informal learning for youth and adults who attend. The Bookhouse provides interest with its variety of reading materials. Books and magazines may be checked out for reading enjoyment. Other activities are: book reading contest, coloring and drawing contest, table games, story hours and film viewing. The program is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Youth Becoming Leaders
Y.B.L. (Youth Becoming Leaders) through the sport of basketball, this program seeks to strengthen participants understanding of the community they live in, through workshops and speakers. For more information contact the King Center.

Wisconsin FACETS
Wisconsin FACETS: working with parents with disabled children, this program focus is to provide and broaden opportunitires that enhance the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities. For more information call 633-8888.

Drill Team
Drill Team (The King Center Jammers) young ladies ages 7 - 17 get ready to clap your hands and stomp your feet. The King Center drill begins practice in early April. All young ladies are encouraged to join.
