Current Student Job Opportunities

STUDENT SUMMER EMPLOYMENT

The City of Racine is accepting applications from full-time undergraduate college students who are presently enrolled on a fulltime basis, who intend continuing as fulltime undergraduate students in the fall of 2010, and graduating high school seniors intending to enroll in college on a full time basis in the fall of 2010. Positions may include playground leader, lifeguard, student truck driver, student laborer, and student aide (clerical). A few positions may be available for students majoring in engineering, computer sciences or natural sciences. Major departments that use student employees are Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, Department of Public Works and the Water and Wastewater Utility. Preference for employment will be given to students who reside within the city limits of Racine. Students meeting the above criteria may apply until April 9, 2010 at the Human Resources Department, City Hall, 730 Washington Avenue, Room 204, Racine, WI 53403.
