EXECUTIVE SECRETARY V, PARKS, RECREATION AND CULTURAL SERVICES

The City of Racine will be taking applications through Friday March 19, 2010 for the position of Executive Secretary for Director of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services. The position requires highly developed customer service skills and the ability to handle confidential material. Acceptable candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent with 3 years previous secretarial experience and a minimum two years of supervisory experience. Candidates must be proficient in secretarial duties demonstrated through passing a battery of required tests. SANITARIAN I - Lead Poisoning Prevention Sanitarian Program Coordinator

The City of Racine is taking applications for the position of Sanitarian I in the City of Racine Health Department. In addition to coordinating the activities of the City?s lead program, this position is responsible for enforcing public health rules and regulations related to local and state lead poisoning prevention ordinances. WIC (WOMEN, INFANT AND CHILDREN) BREAST FEEDING PEER COUNSELOR Part Time

Applications are now being taken until filled. This position requires a paraprofessional with breastfeeding experience who is selected, trained and given ongoing supervision by the WIC Coordinator. The counselor will be selected from the population to be served and is scheduled for 8 to 12 hours per week. This counselor gives basic breastfeeding information and encouragement to WIC clients who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. This is a limited term position based on grant funding. RHBHF PHN Coordinator

The RHBHF Program serves to reduce infant mortality; particularly in the African-American population. Services are provided to diverse populations through individual and group formats. Duties of this position will serve to coordinate these efforts as well as to provide direct client services. Coordination of the program will consist of development of program activities, community engagement and collaboration, completion of program reporting and quality assurance measures. A Bachelor?s degree in nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing or accredited by the National Professional Nursing Education Accrediting Organization is required. Candidate must also have a valid Wisconsin driver?s license and use of an automobile. Starting salary range is $52,000.00 to $59,000.00, depending on experience.
