Training Classes

Training Classes will be scheduled when at least 6-8 members have signed up to take the class. Members will then be notified by email or telephone as to when the class has been scheduled.

You must be a PAID member of CAR 25 to register for classes.

Orientation to Public Access

The Orientation Class is an overview of the policies and procedures handout given to all members. Members will be certified at the conclusion of the course.

Basic Camcorder Workshop

Basic Camcorder Workshop covers all areas of working with CAR 25’s Canon ZR 80’s. Members will be certified at the conclusion of the course.

Basic Editing Workshop

Basic editing introduces members to I Movie on Macintosh computers. Importing video and pictures, trimming video, adding music, etc., will all be covered throughout this course. Members will be certified at the conclusion of the course.

Advanced Camcorder/ Studio Production Operation

Advanced Camcorder/ Studio Production covers all operations included in working with CAR 25’s Panasonic DVC 80P. Members will be certified at the conclusion of the course.

If a paid member of CAR 25 believes to be completely knowledgeable regarding a particular training course, the producer(s) may receive certification without training. Certification will be given after the producer(s) pass a test given by CAR 25 employees, proving they have the necessary skills needed to be proficient in particular equipment operations.
