Main Gallery
Main Gallery, a summer employment program developed by Racine Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department, is designed for young people ages 14 to 19 interested in the Arts. Young artists work with practicing artists, learning new skills and techniques, while getting paid and obtaining job experience. There is no cost and all supplies are provided. There are a limited number of openings. Funding for the program is dependent on donations from sponsors. Job applications can be picked up now at our office or downloaded from this site by clicking HERE. Past programs include furniture painting, photography, sculpture, theater, mural painting, bus painting and jewelry design. Application deadline is Friday, April 12, 2013.

Lifeguards
Be a lifeguard on one of Wisconsin's greatest lakes and beaches in Racine - North Beach. Applications will be available beginning Thursday, December 27, 2012.
* Qualifications: lifeguard Certificate a MUST
* Flexible Hours with fun in the sun!
* Average Work Week: 40 Hours
Applications may be picked up at the PRCS Office, Annex Building, 800 Center Street, Room 127, OR please visit our Applications & Forms page. You must complete a Lifeguard Application as well as a City of Racine General Student Application. Please ensure you complete and sbumit both applications to be considered.

Softball Umpire School
Softball Umpire School is held for three (3) sessions on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. the sessions will meet on Tuesday & Thursday, March 12, 14 & 19, 2013 at the Cesar Chavez Community Center. If you are interested in officiating during the 2013 season, you MUST ATTEND the school. Games are scheduled Sunday afternoons and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Volleyball Official School will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012, at the Cesar Chavez Community Center from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Basketball Officials School
Basketball Official School will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Cesar Chavez Community Center from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. If you are interested in officiating during the 2012 - 2013 season, you MUST ATTEND the school. Games are scheduled on Thursday evening and Sunday afternoons running from November to March.
