PRCS T-BALL, COACH PITCH AND KID PITCH YOUTH SOFTBALL & PRCS YOUTH 12" SOFTBALL
The 2013 season will begin the first week in June. Boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade as of May 1, 2013 may register for this program. The girls league will be played on Monday evenings and the boys league will be played on Wednesday evenings. All games are played at Humble Park ball diamonds. The 2013 season for 12" softball (12-14 years of age) will begin end of May. The girls and boys leagues will be played on Thursday evenings beginning May 30th at Solbraa Park or Mount Pleasant Park. Players are taken in on a first come, first served basis. For more information call (262)636-9131.

A maximum of 15 boys or girls play on each team 5th grade and under team.

ADULT SUMMER SOFTBALL
The 2014 season will begin May 1. Registration can be done by walk in with the proper fees and signed player cards. Teams are taken in on a first come, first serve basis. Games will be played at various fields. Teams can reserve fields for practice starting April 1, 2014. Practice permit fee is $5.00. You must practice on the night you play. Permits are not available more than one week in advance. Registration of a team guarantees night of play, not league! Registration forms are available year round.

Additional Player will cost $TBA per person. Deadline for additional players is Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
Remember registration guarantee night of play not league.
Players fees are non refundable and non transferable.
In 2014 league play will begin on May 1st every year, not the first Sunday of the first full week of May.
Mid-season sign up: Friday, May 22, - Friday, July 7, 2014. Each team may add up to 4 players. Cost is $TBA per person.

Banned Bat List 2013 - ASA Bat List 2013
Injury Replacement Deadline: August 1st or the last Friday of July if August 1st falls on a Saturday or Sunday. A written Dr.s excuse, player release card, replacement player must fill out a new player's card and pay the current players fee. This must all be turned in together.
Each team is allowed 2 postponements during the season. The paper work for this must be turned into our office by Tuesday noon of the week prior to the game.
A team that forfeits must pay a $25.00 forfeit fee in order to resume play in the league. A team which forfeit's a second time will be dropped from the league.
Make ups are played on your evening of pay, please call one week in advance to schedule. PRCS department will not automatically reschedule games unless it has a bearing on the league title. Your team MUST be prepared to play the week(s) following the last game on your schedule.

The Fall Ball season will begin on August 26, 2013. Practice permits are $5.00. You must practice on the night you play, and you cannot reserve a diamond more than a week in advance. Registration guarantees night of play, not league!

50 & Over Softball
The City of Racine’s Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department is looking to add more softball players to the 50 & Over to its scrimmage games. Interested parties should come:
Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. to Island Park.
We would like to make these games into a league, but we need a minimum of sixty (60) people to start this league. This will make four (4) teams with fifteen (15) people on each team. Games started Wednesday, April 16th.

All sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Classes will be held on the following dates: Tuesday, March 12; Thursday, March 14; and the final session is Tuesday, March 19, 2013. The school is held at Cesar Chavez Community Center at 2221 Douglas Ave. If you are interested in officiating during the 2013 season, you MUST ATTEND umpire school. Games are scheduled Sunday afternoons and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.
